For a lazy Sunday afternoon, El Taco Pollo stopped by the South Lamar Kerbey Lane Cafe. Kerbey Lane Cafe has a great selection of breakfast, lunch and dinner entrées, but of course we had to eat tacos!

Kerbey Lane has a variety of tacos. Being that it was a relaxed Sunday we figured we couldn’t go wrong with some Migas Tacos on CORN tortillas. We planned on just getting one taco, but the waitress suggested that we get two, and we are glad she did.

When the plate comes it looks glorious. You get a large taco, which really is two CORN tortillas overlapped to make one big taco. The tacos are filled with Cheddar and Monterey Jack cheeses, tomatoes, scrambled eggs, and crumbled tortilla chips. You can also choose from a couple of different salsas—we chose the salsa verde (green chile salsa).

4 our of 5 Tacos: The taco was delicious, el Taco Pollo is getting hungry for one just thinking about it. The CORN tortillas were a perfect, soft texture probably because they tossed them in hot oil for a bit. The eggs were fluffy, and the two cheeses were nicely melted. The tomatoes were fresh, and the salsa had a spicy yet sweet taste. Then to top it all the right amount of tortilla chips were mixed into the taco.

This is a great breakfast taco that can be eaten any time of the day. We recommend you stop in and try them.
